Garage Band- We used garage band for our podcast about ourselves earlier on in the course and we used it for most of the sound production on every project we did. We used Garage Band in the last project to get an original soundtrack often enough we used it for sounds of whistles,crowds ect. We also can used it for our own style of music video with Rob where we took a song we liked and used pictures from the internet to describe what the lyrics mean and say. We can also use garage band to record sound through it also.
iMovie- We used iMovie for uploading our flip book video where we made a flip book and uploaded it picture by picture. We also used it for our video when we had to do a chase scene. We watched it scene by scene we also did like different angles and we arranged every scene and went with what scene went well and helped it flow better. We also used iMovie to upload our music video to Quicktime. Last time we used iMovie was to upload our animation and we arranged it scene by scene and made sure everything fitted.
iPhoto- We used iPhoto to upload our screen shots of different types of sites when we were comparing sites and showing what we did on a project ect. We also used iPhoto for when we scanned our pictures for our flip book and put them in iPhoto to upload them to iMovie.

Updates :)
Tuesday- We started learning about how a magazine page is constructed. We traced a magazine spread and outlined where the pictures and text were on the page. We were shown the basic outline of a magazine and on how different magazines can construct there front page and how some magazines can hide there logo unlike other magazines that aren't so well known have to always show there title page.
Thursday- We finished off our projects. By editing up the films and watching them through. They are going to do the voice overs and made sure we got scene by scene correct and that it had a solid flow to it and that it made sense.
Monday 1/2/10- We learned about Andy Warhol and what kind of art work he did. We are going to do a self portrait in the style of Andy Warhol art work. We had to find four pictures of his work and write a paragraph on why we liked and explained it in depth. Then the lecturer took pictures of us and then traced it with a pen and then projected it on to a big piece of card and drew it out on the card and then went over it in black pen.
